Generally I find myself taking a lot of landscape and action adventure shots, but I’ve always desired to get closer and closer to my subject. I long to photograph the little things in nature in detail, but never had the ability to portray the world as I wanted; that is until I purchased my first macro lens. Now I can happily shoot away capturing all the little details I want, weather of not there is low cloud coverage or powerlines in the background. This picture of a common daisy was taken in a school yard after a rain. I especially enjoy the pollen that has been tracked across the pedals by a foraging bee.
