Less than a week after my first encounter with the duck family they were back, much to my excitement. This time however, I noticed there was one less chick which made me a little sad for mother (one was hidden in the previous photo). This time the family was resting a little further up into the grass, and the day was brighter. Luckily she allowed me the same privilege as before, and once again I got the shot I wanted without any stress.
