Since taking over as manager for Sea to Sky Adventure Company my photography  has shifted from personal pleasure to marketing and promotional shoots. It’s been a great learning experience, and the lenses I’ve gathered have be extremely helpful in this transition, in particular the 10-24mm f2.8 I picked up a month ago. I’ve also gotten into video production for work as well as many, many client shots. It seems my camera has found more use lately than ever previously, but it’s been weeks since I’ve felt that excitement behind the lens that drives me to shoot. Yesterday, after a long day working on my ‘day off’ I finally got out with my good friend Alex for a photoadventure along the banks of the Squamish River. I shot mostly macro shots of critters and flowers, but at the end of the day this shot of Alex was my favourite. Thanks Alex, for the escape from work!
